About Me
Care Philosophy:
I am passionate about working with children and their families. My goal is to assist parents and schools by integrating neuropsychological results, the psychosocial needs of the child, and educational programming. As a mother, I understand the problems and concerns that arise within the social and school environments.
Biographical Statement:
Dr. Jannel Phillips is a clinical neuropsychologist that specializes in working with children and adolescents with developmental and neurological disorders. She attended Oakland University and Central Michigan University for her graduate training where she specialized in Clinical Neuropsychology. She also holds an additional Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. She works with children, adolescents and young adults with traumatic brain injuries, seizures, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorders, learning disorders, hearing and cochlear implants, congenital cardiac disease, genetic disorders and other medically-related complications. Dr. Phillips enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, camping, and having weekly summer barbecues.

My research interests include Congenital Cardiac Disease, FMRI, genes and outcomes from cochlear implants in infants, longitudinal DTI studies in children treated for Congenital Hydrocephalus, & Spina Bifida.
