Pancreatic cancer surgery

David Kwon, M.D.
David Kwon, M.D.
Dr. Kwon is the medical director of Surgical Oncology at the Henry Ford Cancer Institute. He specializes in the care and surgical management of patients with upper gastrointestinal malignancies, including pancreatic cancers, biliary, duodenal appendix and gastric cancers. He completed fellowship training in Surgical Oncology at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.  

Rupen Shah
Rupen Shah, M.D.
Dr. Shah is the director of the Peritoneal Surface Malignancy Program at the Henry Ford Cancer Institute. He specializes in endocrine neoplasms, including thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal tumors, and surgical cytoreduction and HIPEC treatment for select stage IV cancers. He completed fellowship training in Surgical Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in New York.  

Radiation oncology

Parag Parikh
Parag Parikh, M.D.
Dr. Parikh is the director of Gastrointestinal Radiation Oncology and MRI-Guided Radiation Therapy at the Henry Ford Cancer Institute. Specializing in gastrointestinal cancers, he is internationally recognized for his expertise in MR-guided radiation therapy. He is board certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology.

Farzan Siddiqui, M.D., Ph.D.
Farzan Siddiqui, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Siddiqui is the vice chair of Radiation Oncology at Henry Ford Cancer Institute. He specializes in the care of patients with pancreatic cancer and head and neck cancer. He is board certified in hospice and palliative medicine by the American Board of Radiology.

Medical oncology

Dr. Khan is a medical oncologist at the Henry Ford Cancer Institute. She specializes in pancreatic cancer, digestive cancer, and gastrointestinal tumors. She completed fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan.

Ira Wollner, M.D.
Dr. Wollner leads Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology and the Hematology & Oncology Fellowship Program at the Henry Ford Cancer Institute. He completed fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology and Geriatrics at the University of Michigan.

Jedrzej Wykretowicz, M.D, Ph.D.
Dr. Wykretowicz is a medical oncologist at the Henry Ford Cancer Institute. He specializes in pancreatic cancer, digestive cancer, and gastrointestinal tumors. He completed fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Piraka is the program director for the Advanced Interventional Endoscopy Fellowship Program at Henry Ford Health System. He received his fellowship training in Therapeutic Endoscopy from the University of Colorado Denver, and completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Pompa is an interventional gastroenterologist at Henry Ford Health System. He received his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Kintz is a surgical oncology advanced practice provide at the Henry Ford Cancer Institute. She assists patients and their families from diagnosis through survivorship.

Melissa Pickett, RN
Melissa Pickett is a cancer nurse navigator at the Henry Ford Cancer Institute. She assists patients and their families from the time of diagnosis through surveillance and survivorship. Melissa coordinates appointments, education and teaching with the multidisciplinary team, and provides treatment side effect management and emotional support.

Amy Carion
Amy Carion, RDN
Amy Carion is a registered dietitian nutritionist who leads nutrition services and counseling for patients with pancreatic cancer.

Michael Ryan, PsyD
Michael Ryan, PsyD
Dr. Ryan is the clinical director of Supportive Oncology Services at the Henry Ford Cancer Institute, specializing in the supportive care of cancer patients in their journey with this devastating disease. She completed fellowship training in Clinical Health Psychology at Henry Ford Hospital.
