The Henry Ford Macomb Internal Medicine Residency Program curriculum follows all of the requirements for training from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) common standards. The program was accredited by the ACGME on July 1, 2015.

The Ambulatory continuity training is scheduled throughout the residency as one half-day session per week to occur throughout the residency training program

Non-mandatory electives: additional Continuity Clinic, Electrophysiology, Allergy, Dermatology, Palliative care, Medical ICU (HFH), non-operative Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Sleep Medicine, Anesthesiology

  • Vacation will not be granted while rotating on IM Floors, Night Float or ICU months.
