Neighbors Caring for Neighbors Clinics

At Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals, our mission to provide Macomb County residents with the best possible healthcare requires us to extend services well beyond the four walls of our hospitals. Our ultimate goal is to keep people healthy. To do that, we are partnering with other community-based organizations to expand and maintain healthcare access for all residents of our community, including the uninsured. Our Neighbors Caring for Neighbors clinics are one way we extend our care.

The clinics provide free basic medical care and health education to people of all ages:

  • Treatment for acute illnesses, such as colds, ear infections, bronchitis, rashes
  • Treatment for chronic illnesses, such as high blood pressure, diabetes
  • Employment and school physicals
  • Referral to other services

In order to receive services, you must:

  • be a Macomb County resident or be a patient of Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals
  • have a household income of less than $30,000
  • have no health insurance

The clinics are open at varying dates and times, depending on community need, staffing availability and a number of other options. For the most up-to-date times, please call the clinic you are interested in visiting. Appointments are preferred. Walk-ins are accepted for urgent problems only.
