In today's COVID-19 media briefing, Adnan Munkarah, M.D., Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer, talked about Henry Ford's plans for vaccinating its frontline health care workers and the timing of when the health system expects to receive vaccine. Dr. Munkarah said about 4,700 health care workers have been identified to first receive the vaccine. He also discussed Henry Ford's Tough Love Campaign and staffing assistance from Northwell Health and stressed that mask wearing, social distancing and avoiding indoor and holidays gatherings needs to continue. Dr. Munkarah also provided an update on hospitalizations and testing.
