Prior to this appointment, Sexton was the Director of Hospital Operations and Nurse Executive for Henry Ford Kingswood Hospital. Sexton has 20 years of nursing experience with Henry Ford Health with the last 10 years focused on nursing leadership and hospital operations. 

First of its kind artificial heart valve now approved by FDA for treatment of tricuspid regurgitation.

The endowment will ensure that approximately $250,000 in scholarships will be awarded annually. Over the first five years that could translate to 180 individual scholarships.
