Biography Statement

Dr. Laurie A. Boore-Clor is a board-certified psychiatrist with subspecialty certification in geriatric psychiatry. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions affecting older adults, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, behavioral symptoms associated with neurocognitive disorders and the psychiatric aspects of complex neurological conditions. She also evaluates patients with movement disorders and memory disorders when referred by their neurologist.

Dr. Boore-Clor evaluates patients with movement and memory disorders in Plymouth upon referral from a neurologist and provides geriatric psychiatry care in Dearborn. She also offers telemedicine visits for established Henry Ford Health patients in Michigan and Florida. Her West Bloomfield practice is exclusively virtual.

Dr. Boore-Clor earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her residency in psychiatry at Wayne State University. She subsequently completed a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the University of Michigan, where she received advanced training in the psychiatric care of older adults and patients with age-related cognitive and neurological conditions.
