Sleep Disorders
If you’re one of the nearly 70 million Americans dealing with chronic sleep loss, feeling tired all the time is just part of the problem. Consistently getting less-than-adequate rest increases your risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, depression, heart disease and stroke. The good news is that most sleep disorders are highly treatable. And no matter your sleep issue, the caring staff at Henry Ford is here to help.
When you come to Henry Ford Health for diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related conditions, you will find some of the nation’s top sleep disorder specialists. Our caring team uses the most up-to-date, scientific methods and comprehensive strategies to effectively treat every patient.
We also have clinic and sleep lab locations across southeast and south central Michigan.
We offer home sleep apnea testing in the comfort and safety of your own home
These state-of-the-art devices are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to use to ensure maximum safety.
We also offer video-visits with our board certified physicians for both new and return patients
You can receive the same personalized care you receive in the office, but without having to worry about coming to our clinics. You can conduct the video visit at home, work or any other location where you feel comfortable talking with your doctor.
A history of innovation
The Henry Ford Sleep Disorders Center was founded in 1978, making it one of the longest-running sleep disorder centers in the country. Our specialists are actively involved in sleep medicine research, continuously working to find new and better ways to treat patients with all types of sleep disorders.
Comprehensive sleep solutions
Our sleep medicine team includes specialists with a broad range of experience and expertise. That allows us to offer a variety of effective sleep disorder treatments, many of which are not widely available elsewhere. Treatments we offer include Inspire® therapy (a state-of-the-art solution for sleep apnea), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for the treatment of insomnia and expert care of chronic respiratory failure by our pulmonary and sleep medicine trained physicians.
Highly specialized team
Our sleep disorders specialists include board-certified sleep medicine doctors with a wide range of specialties. This enables us to successfully treat complex cases of sleep disorders in patients who also have other complicated medical conditions.
