Atlee Loughran, MD

Biographical Statement

Atlee M. Loughran, M.D. (she/her) is plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Henry Ford Health. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and obtained her M.D. from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. She then completed her residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. She then trained in her subspecialty of Complex Gender and Microsurgery at Harvard.

Her clinical expertise include all aspects of gender affirming surgery including facial, chest and genital reconstruction. She also provides expertise in body contouring, cosmetic procedures, botox and facial fillers and facial plastics. Her research interests include patient-centered and aesthetic outcomes in gender affirming care.
