Same day health is available to current or non-Henry Ford Health patients in Metro Detroit and the Jackson area.
Same-Day In-Person Care
Same-day healthcare appointments are available to current or non-Henry Ford Health patients Monday through Saturday during business hours. Current Henry Ford Health patients may be able to see their primary care provider. If they are not available, a member of their team can help you. Log in to Get a Same Day appointment.
Virtual care
Access primary care at any time day or night using your computer, tablet, or smartphone. On demand video visits, E-visits and scheduled video visits through Henry Ford Health allow you meet with a trusted partner from home. An On-Demand Video Visit lets you tap into the same expert care you expect from an in-person visit. This option is for minor health concerns for patients 1 year and older. As an on-demand service, visits are available 24/7/365. Explore On-Demand Video Visits.

E-Visit
An E-Visit is for non-urgent care needs. Simply send a message about your concern via MyChart. Depending on the issue, we may ask you to complete a questionnaire. A Henry Ford primary care provider responds within one business day. E-Visits are $35. Some insurance plans cover this cost. Learn more about E-Visits.

Scheduled Video Visit
Receive services from your preferred primary care provider via a Scheduled Video Visit. This option is for non-urgent, routine health concerns and follow-ups from previous visits.

Same-day prescription delivery
If your provider prescribes medications during your virtual visit, you can request same-day delivery for no added charge. This service is available if you use a Henry Ford Health Pharmacy. Same-day prescription delivery is available Monday through Friday for prescriptions received before 3 p.m.
Urgent care
When you can’t see your Henry Ford primary care team, you can go to a Henry Ford-GoHealth Urgent Care site. These facilities provide services to patients of all ages, seven days a week, including after-hours and holidays.
Clinics are located throughout the Detroit metro area. Receive care for illnesses and injuries, vaccines and referrals to Henry Ford specialists. Save your spot in line or walk into one of our centers. No appointment is necessary.
Emergency care
Primary care services are for non-life-threatening conditions. If there is an emergency, please dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Henry Ford Health emergency services are available in ten convenient locations.
