Henry Ford Busts Out Breast Health Boot Camps in October
DETROIT – The Henry Ford Cancer Institute is rolling out free Breast Health Boot Camps across metro Detroit during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as a way to bring together nutrition and fitness with the latest information on breast cancer prevention, detection and treatment.
The camps will feature Celebrity chef Michelle Bommarito, who has appeared on The Food Network and Martha Stewart Living. Bommarito will provide culinary demonstrations, as well as recipes and tasty food samples.
Attendees will also learn how to do chair yoga – a great way to relax and strengthen muscles at work or home – and participate in a Q&A discussion with Henry Ford breast cancer physicians.
