The department offers specialized testing and analysis, genetic counseling, and management of the genetic disorders in cooperation with the referring physician. Referring physicians are kept apprised of their patients' progress throughout the entire evaluation and treatment process. Examination findings, test results, and consultative data are recorded in the patient's medical record and shared with the referring physician to ensure ongoing, coordinated care.
