Medical Student Lounge and Relaxation Space
Medical students share the Resident Lounge. There are designated sleep rooms for each program, a quiet room, kitchen facility, and a gaming system offered within the lounge.

Dress Code
All students must wear white jackets. Male students should wear a dress shirt and tie. Female students should wear a professional-looking blouse and slacks. Exceptions to this rule will be made only when a student is on a service that requires wearing scrubs.

Length of Services
Henry Ford Jackson Hospital has the flexibility to offer two or four week rotations. Rotations are limited to two for visiting students with only one during our recruitment season.

Obtaining Schedules and Reporting for Duty
The student schedule may include weekends, nights and H&P assignments. Schedules will be provided by the preceptors/office staff. The first day of your rotation you will be scheduled for an orientation that will include badging & various computer training. This will be scheduled by the Student Coordinator and details will be emailed to you the week before your rotation is set to begin.

International Medical Student Policy
