With an innovative, healing environment centered around you, we offer one strong, integrated team, ensuring you have access to the latest advances in cancer treatment, research, clinical trials and support throughout your journey.
A shaded, third-floor terrace provides a comfortable and calming experience to patients, families, and employees. And a skywalk connects the campus to Henry Ford Hospital.
The campus also includes ample parking for patients and families and features special gathering places for patient and caregiver support groups, yoga classes, music and art therapy.
The Henry Ford Cancer Institute-Detroit is designed to create a truly seamless care experience that’s unique to each person’s cancer journey.
Our team of cancer experts – including radiation oncology, medical oncology, and surgeons – work together to treat all types of cancer. Nurse navigators specially trained in their specific cancer type work with each patient to manage the entire care process. These specialists meet weekly as part of a tumor board to review each case and develop a personalized treatment plan.
We offer a complete range of treatment options, including:
- Bone marrow transplant (stem cell transplant)
- Clinical trial therapies
- Integrative therapies
- Palliative therapies, including pain management and hospice care
- Precision Medicine
- Radiation therapy, including radiosurgery
All of our patients and their families also have access to support resources before, during, and after treatment.
